A wild elephant has been killed in Nga Pu Taw township, Pathain District, Ayawaddy region at 25.06.2019. In order to not become the same case in future, awareness raising and education activities were conducted for preventing wild elephants being killed and reducing human and elephant conflicts by the collaboration of multi-stakeholders from 25.06.2019 to 06.07.2019.

The collaborated organizations are Nature and Wildlife Conservation Division, Nga Pu Taw Forest Department, Police Department, Elephant Emergency Respond Unit (EERU) and Local community representatives.
